I've decided to drink 2 cups of Yerba Mate Tea in the mornings in addition to my cleanse.
"In South America, yerba mate has been revered for centuries as the “drink of the gods” and is drunk daily for optimum health, sustained energy and mental clarity. Of the six commonly used stimulants in the world: yerba mate, coffee, tea, kola nut, cocoa, and guarana, yerba mate triumphs as natures most balanced stimulant, delivering both energy and nutrition. The leaves of the rainforest mate tree naturally contain 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, abundant antioxidants. In fact, The Pasteur Institute and the Paris Scientific society in 1964 concluded "it is difficult to find a plant in any area of the world equal to mate in nutritional value" and that yerba mate contains "practically all of the vitamins necessary to sustain life."

Keeping a positive attitude
I think that keeping a positive attitude during the cleanse is imperative. Even when the going gets rough, you just have to remember that the reason for some of the bad feelings is actually a blessing in disguise. You know the old saying that it "is darkest just before the dawn"? I think it applies here for sure. The times when I have felt the worse because of detox symptoms or cravings or feeling hungry were like the dips in a roller coaster. I hung on and the next experience was the highest of highs. The days that I am full of energy, have a positive outlook and just generally in love with life and the world definitely were the days following a low day.
You have more free time on your hands on the cleanse because there is no time taken up by food preparation or long hours of eating and shopping seems a lot quicker. Why not use the extra time for yourself? Clean out closets and drawers. Give yourself a manicure and pedicure. Take long baths and give yourself a facial. Go for long walks. Meditate. Stretch. Read some really good books. Watch inspirational movies. Listen to inspirational music. Search the web for ways to make yourself a better person.
I came upon this site today. It is full of good advice and there are several fantastic articles to read on it.
Law of Attraction Principals - Ask and You Shall Get.
Supposedly your mind is much more open to visualization on the cleanse. Why not visualize your new body or your new life?

Day 8
I had some major detox this morning. About an hour after my SWF I started to feel dizzy and got tunnel vision. It pretty much went away after I eliminated the salt water. I was also very gassy.. I think it is old 'crap' being stirred up. I feel better now. I had a lemonade with 2 tablespoons of syrup, which I usually don't do, only because it is way too sweet for me. I have also been upping my cayenne pepper quite a bit. I couldn't take much the first time around. Now it doesn't bother me at all and I feel like it keeps my metabolism racing and helps the lemon juice scrub my insides.

Day 6
This cleanse has been way easier than my last one. I think maybe because my body is cleaner, but also because the weather is so much better. It is so nice to be able to go outside in the sunshine and fresh air, rather then sit in front of the tv because it was too cold to do anything else.
I had so much energy yesterday that I went for 2 super long walks, the second one ending with a bit of running towards the end. I also had a bit of a hard time falling asleep. I could have gone for a run at 2 am, I was buzzing with so much energy. But I laid in bed and listened to hypno/positive thinking tapes.

Kickin it old school with Jack
I have a friend who is 38 that looks like she is 23 or so. She always gets carded at bars and once was even accused of having a fake ID because the guy did not believe she was 38.
She is anti botox and all that garbage. I know she uses organic products like Dr. Hauschka, but I finally got her real secret.
Her mom had taught her face exercises that she has done herself for the last 40 years. They were from the Jack Lalanne Show from way back in the 50's. My friend said that she does these at least every other day while she is in the shower.
I looked on you tube and found the old show clips!! They are pretty funny looking, but I am going to start doing them today! Hopefully I get the amazing skin this time around on the Cleanse that most people say they get, and doing this on top of it, maybe I will look 19 again!!
This guy has all the clips, here.
There seem to be 30 different clips of the face exercises from different shows, but they are all pretty similar. I think there are like 6 exercises in total.
I also watched some of the other clips and am amazed how far ahead of his time this guy was. Telling people to cut out white flour, white sugar etc! He is awesome.

Teeth
I know some people obsessively brush their teeth on the Master Cleanse, worrying about the acid of the lemons and their teeth. I just read this on MSN, which I would think would apply to the lemondade.
The Acid Bath
On the surface it makes sense: Brush your teeth after breakfast. Problem is, cereal, bananas, and OJ are acidic, and if you eat them and then brush right away, you'll remove some of the temporarily softened tooth enamel. The remedy? Wait 20 minutes before you brush, says David Bartlett, B.D.S., Ph.D., a British expert on dental erosion.
Day 4
Well, today I am in detox mode. My first 3 days were easy. There is always the little nagging temptation to quit, or the I could just start again tomorrows, but I got by that. Yesterday I had crazy energy. I went for a 2 hour walk out by the lake.
Today, I was groggy feeling in the morning. I have been taking it easy. My tongue got the fuzzy whites today also. My BIG mistake though was doing the laxative tea in the morning. I have always done the SWF in the mornings but got up so late today that I thought I would try the tea this once.
I have had a cramping stomach all afternoon, and had to sit on the toilet for quite a long time. I also feel dehydrated. The SWF is gross and sucks to do, but at least you know what to expect. You know is is gonna come out and by what time and there is no stomach ace or cramps involved. I wasn't really going to go out or exercise today anyway, but if I wanted to, I doubt I could with these stomach cramps.
SWF from now on!

Cleansing Again!!
I am on day 3 of my 5th cleanse, if you count the short (under 6 days) ones, or my 2nd if you only count my long one.
I am doing this one for more spiritual reasons this time. I lost weight on my last one, but I didn't seem to gain some of the other benefits. I read Tom Woloshyn's book and am excited to be doing it again.
He has many great tips and tricks and has worked with Stanley Burroughs personally, so his advice is great. Get it if you can, or check it out of the library.
Peter Glickman also wrote a pretty good one. You can read almost half of it for free on Google Books.
Check it out!

More about detox symptoms
From Ron Lagerquist
http://www.freedomyou.com
Fasting is like cleaning out a filthy garage, twenty, thirty, maybe fifty years of harmful food latent in every cell. Sometimes things must get worse before they get better. This has never been truer than with fasting. Fasting stirs up toxins on a cellular and spiritual level, resulting in days of discomfort. They surface in the forms of bad breath, cankers, nausea, feelings of sadness, remorse, even depression. All this can convince the faint of heart, fasting is bad.
What you are about to read are common physical reactions to fasting. These reactions are not symptoms of fasting but years of neglect. I have often tried to imagine what the fasting experience was like during Jesus’ day. Their Lifestyle was severe, eating a simple diet consisting of organic whole foods; their air and water was absent from the soup of pollutants we are forced to assimilate daily. Fasting was a part of their faith; they often went short periods of time without food. If Peter or John read the list below, I think they would be surprised. We have talked about the law of sowing and reaping. The intensity of the following physical reactions will be a tangible measurement of your level of toxicity. Sometimes we must reap a bad harvest to make room for good seed, a body cleaned to receive a new diet.
Hunger
Most are surprised by the disappearance of hunger once the border is crossed into fasting’s land of silence. After a day or two, hunger’s voice will be rare indeed. Craving can continue on for some days longer, and then at last stillness, leaving the deep groans of the soul. Once the body quiets, the richer connection with our spiritual hunger can be felt. There is nothing like it! Wonderful freedom comes when flesh is forced into silence, sharpening perception of the greatest sound of all; God’s still small voice.
The odd time hunger can flare up, more often in a juice fast than water. This could be due to excessive pulp in the juice, reawakening digestion. If hunger persists, try straining your juice or adding some prune juice to clean out the digestive tract.
Weakness
Water fasting will result in weakness and lack of energy. There can even be dips in stamina during a juice fast if you have a high metabolism. Weakness is a vital part of fasting’s slowing down process. Embrace this wonderful quieting state, your expectations should be adjusted when planning a fast. Give yourself lots of down time; enjoy the holiday away from the hustle and bustle.
Backaches
Back pain can increase due to toxins in the lower intestine. Blood vessels that draw nutrients from the colon are very close to the nerves of the spine. Back pain will often decrease after elimination of the toxins. Back exercises can also relieve some pain. A cold pack also will help. Using the enema kit will be the best remedy.
Bad Breath
Waste passes through the lungs, which are an eliminative organ. Brushing the tongue with a toothbrush using dental floss and rinsing with mouthwash will reduce bad breath.
Cankers
Toxic build-up in the mouth and the absence of the washing-action of chewing food can allow an increase of bacteria between the teeth. The tongue becomes coated with waste. To stop cankers, gargle with sea salt mixed with water several times daily. Dabbing the sore with tea tree oil or vitamin E quickens the healing process.
Cold Virus
Mucoid is the perfect food for viruses. Toxins weaken the immune system. When large quantities of toxins and mucus are in the blood due to a fast, they can cause susceptibility to colds. To fight a cold, continue fasting to eliminate mucus. Increase intake of citrus juices.
Blackouts
During fasting the body conserves energy. The heart pumps slower and blood pressure lowers. Standing or moving quickly from a resting position will cause the blood to flow to the legs, causing blackouts and dizziness. To stop blackouts get down on one knee or sit. Lowering your center of gravity will instantly stop a blackout. Blackouts are more frequent during water fasting.
Diarrhea
Fruit juices have a laxative effect which is more pronounced after water fasting. The enema kit or using phylum husk during diarrhea helps regulate diarrhea.
Headaches
Toxins can cause muscle tightness in the neck and shoulders. This can result in tension headaches. Massaging the neck and shoulders will help relieve the tension. The herb Fever Few, which is available in health food stores, is well worth trying.
Muscle Tightness
The muscles may become tight and sore due to toxin irritation. The legs can be affected, as toxins accumulate in the large muscles. A self-massage, hot baths, stretching and exercising will help to release the toxins.
Nausea
When waste is released too quickly by the lymph glands some of the toxic overload is taken by the liver and secreted with bile into the stomach. This causes nausea. Drinking water or carrot juice will dilute the bile and toxin mixture, helping to flush it from the system.
Nervousness
The elimination of toxins can irritate damaged nerves. Light exercise will relieve tension. Use quarter slices of avocado to slow the fast.
Skin Disturbances
People with problem-free skin may have a few days of pimples or boils. A pallid complexion is also a sign of waste in the blood. When cleansed of mucus and toxins the skin will be healthy, soft and unblemished.
Tiredness
Sleepiness is normal during water or restricted juice fasting. Very few people receive enough rest, so enjoy the extra sleep; it may be as healing and rejuvenating as the fast itself.

Some good tips HERE.
Especially:
TIP #5- H20 IS YOUR FRIEND
Drink as much water as you can during the cleanse. I've read that it's good to drink up to 1/2 your body weight in ounces. (so if you weigh 150 pounds, drink at least 75 ounces of water.) I just know from past experience that the more water I drink the better the results. I also know that when I didn't drink water I had more severe detox symptoms the next day. In addition, drinking water helps / aids your body in removing the toxins. Remember the Maple Syrup is your nutrients, the salt water flush and laxative tea are the "scrubbers" and the lemon juice is the loosening agent. So it only makes sense that the more water you drink the more "stuff" you are removing.

Grapefruit Juice Day 2
Feeling good! Juice is yummy! Took a whole bunch of probiotics also. I CAN'T WAIT TO EAT A DAMN SALAD!! Sounds crazy, but I just want to crunch something!!
So, have you seen the commercials for this show on A&E with Paul McKenna? I can't wait to watch it.
He has written a bunch of books (I Can Make You Rich, Quit Smoking Today Without Gaining Weight, Instant Confidence, I Can Make You Thin, Change Your Life in Seven Days, How to Mend Your Broken Heart). He has been on British TV and now his show "I Can Make You Thin" is going to air on A&E here in the states.
He uses hypnosis and NLP training to help break bad habits. The part around 5:00 below where you use acupressure points to absolve a craving is pretty cool.
Off to drink more juice!

Day 27
I am going to start the juice today. Drinking only juice is still "fasting" so I will still be liquid only until Day 28. Day 29 I want to start eating! I am craving things like salad or raw veggies with guacamole.
I decided to do grapefruit juice. I really hate orange juice. There are some great looking Ruby Red grapefruits in the store right now.
If your cable lineup has BBC America, there is a really good show on called "You Are What You Eat". It is on here at 10am and then again at 3.
The shows host, Dr. Gillian McKeith, puts people on a two month health food diet. Lots of veggies, fruit, nuts, beans and sometimes fish. The average weight loss for the two months seems to be around 27lbs. The most interesting thing is how much healthier they all look afterward. Skin and hair wise, and energy!
So anyway, if you get the channel, the show is definitely worth watching.
more, later.... Grapefruit juice, yum!

Day 25
Motivation to stay on the healthy path...
I think everyone knows that fast food is bad for you, but I came across an article that talked about some of the worst. Just knowing how really bad these things are makes me want to stick with my healthy regime, hopefully forever.
Things to keep in mind...
First of all, salt:
The current recommendation is to consume less than 2,400 milligrams (mg) of sodium a day. This is about 1 teaspoon of table salt per day. It includes ALL salt and sodium consumed, including sodium used in cooking and at the table.
Second, fat grams and calories:
I just took this short little quiz that told me that my recommended daily calories and grams of fat should be:
Total recommended calories per day: 1700 to 2000
Total grams of fat per day: Less than or equal to 55 g
If you are trying to lose weight, the recommendation is 1,200- 1,500 calories a day + exercise.
So keep those numbers in mind and look at some fast food.
YUMMY!
And these are just one item in one meal! Can you imagine if you ate a couple of these things a day? The awesome Blossom is an appetizer. You would eat 2,710 calories, 203 g fat and 6,360 mg sodium BEFORE eating the rest of your meal!!
I got some of these from this article
but these are just a few.

Day 24
Happy Leap Day!
Not much to report. Was sooo nice out today! (39!) and the sun was shining. Got some good outdoors walking time in. I also did a little bit of "spring cleaning". I don't know if it is because of the cleanse, but the Lysol Bleach spray that I usually use for the bathroom smelled so TOXIC and horrible. It made me sick.
I should be starting my period either today or tomorrow, and my skin broke out a little bit. It has also been pretty dry, but I think that was just from the cold. I never got the glowing skin so many people seemed to get. I bet it would be different in the summertime. The skin on the rest of my body looks better though. Instead of chalky butt white, I look just butt white.
One thing I did notice is that my gums look really healthy. I think salt water is actually good for you gums. I was hoping for some old scars to go away, but that hasn't happened yet.
I was reading some stuff about eating slowly and making sure you chew your food enough. I think after my 2 juice days I will move to fruit, but have it in a smoothie form, to help my digestion along.
There is a semi funny movie from the early 90's with Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Broderick called The Road to Wellville.
It is based on the true story of Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, who invented Corn Flakes.... anyway, in real life as well as in the movie he believed in chewing your food 50 times for health. (a bit much!)
The only reason I bring it up is because in the movie they all sing this stupid song:
Chew, chew, chew,
it is the thing to do...
and it has been stuck in my head all afternoon after reading about chewing
more, later...
(chew, chew, chew....)

A University of Rhode Island study has shown slow eating can help you lose weight. Basically, it leaves you physically satisfied longer and makes a meal more enjoyable. The study considered chewing a mouthful between 15 and 20 times “eating slowly".
Chewing sends messages to your stomach about the nature and amount of food that is about to be digested. If your stomach knows ahead of time that there is an ice-cream sundae, some deep-fried chips and a Coke on the way down, it can better prepare the right amount of acid to help digest the mess.
If the stomach acids are not working sufficiently - which is often the case in those following a western-styled diet and gobbling it hastily on the run - food can remain in undigested clumps and move into the intestines where it rots and festers away, creating ill health. Get those teeth working!
And if you get those teeth sufficiently a'crunching, you may be able to throw away those magical moisturisers. According to university studies, chewing stimulates the endocrine system, keeping your hormones in balance for a happier, younger-looking you. In particular, the parotid glands just under your cheekbones release a cell-rejuvenating substance. I'm sure they would bottle it if they could, but they can't, so chew for youth instead.
And what's the use of beauty without brains? The more you chew, the more oxygen is sent to the brain. So take your time and give your meal a thorough munching if you want to score well on those exams.

Day 23
So have decided that Day 28 will be my final day. Exactly one month. Nice ending feel to it. I feel fine, I have no complaints. I could probably go longer if I wanted but decide to stop in 5 days because...
1) I am really thinking about food a lot. Thinking about what I want to eat. Looking for great raw food recipes.
2) I am looking very Mary Kate Olsen. I finally weighed myself and I am 101. Yikes! I think any more weight loss would come from my boobs. And I need those.
So, I will actually drink the juice on Day 28. In the meantime, I just started reading this:

Makes a real good argument to go Vegetarian.

Day 22
Some people are doing the Cleanse for weight loss, some for detox, probably most of us for both. When coming off the fast, I am sure most want to either keep losing some weight or maintain the weight that they have lost. That is why I am going to do a month long raw food challenge.
I was just reading up on "Superfoods". So it makes perfect sense to not only make good choices, but make the BEST choices. Adding some of these can help to look make you look and feel even better.
Here is what I learned about Superfoods.
A superfood is a type of food believed to have health benefits beyond those of more common foods due to specific phytonutrient content. "Phytonutrients" refer to phytochemicals or compounds that come from edible plants
Imagine a superfood -- not a drug -- powerful enough to help you lower your cholesterol, reduce your risk of heart disease and cancer, and, for an added bonus, put you in a better mood. Did we mention that there are no side effects? You’d surely stock up on a lifetime supply. Guess what? These life-altering superfoods are available right now in your local supermarket.
List of some Superfoods
Cacao, Raw chocolate Pronounced "ka-cow" Cacao is the raw, un-cooked, form of chocolate.
Blueberries High in Vitamin C and antioxidants. Raw organic Blueberries have one of the highest ORAC ratings of any fruit
Raspberries - Also high in Vitamin C and antioxidants
Bilberry - Also high in Vitamin C and antioxidants.
Blackberry - Also high in Vitamin C and antioxidants.
Coffee Berry - In the production of coffee, the berry surrounding the bean has always been discarded because it was too perishable to process. Research has shown that the fresh coffee fruit contains antioxidant polyphenols, chlorogenic, caffeic and ferulic acid. One gram of coffee berry provides the same amount of free radical protection as over two kilograms of organic grapes.
Bee Pollen - Bee Pollen is an immune boosting nutritional supplement. It is absorbed quickly into the blood and has been used by athletes for strength, endurance, energy and speed.
Honey, Raw - Honey is the richest source of healing enzymes that increases reflexes, and increases mental alertness.[citation needed] Some types of Manuka honey from New Zealand have been shown to have antifungal, antibiotic and antiviral effects.
Açaí - Pronounced "ah-saee". Has anticancer effects in in vitro lab tests.
Aloe Vera - Aloe Vera is a plant that has wonderful healing and softening properties. Many people have an Aloe Vera houseplant, because you can break off a piece and use the extract from inside to soothe and heal cuts, burns and abrasions. It can also been taken orally to cleanse and heal the intestines and colon.
Chlorella - Some oc Chlorella's key abilities are being a powerful blood cleanser, liver cleanser and anti-cancer agent.[citation needed] It also promotes a healthy pH balance, helps to detoxify the body and decreases constipation.[citation needed]
Probiotics
Noni Fruit
Yacon Root
Rose hips
Quinoa - Pronounced "keen-wah". Quinoa is a complete protein in a "seed" form. It is a good source of fibre and great source of complex carbohydrates.[citation needed] Many people have begun to use Quinoa in cooking as a grain alternative.
Flax seed - Flax Seed Oil is high in omega-3 oils and is impressive in the prevention of heart disease and atherosclerosis.
Leaf teas have also been shown to be of great benefit to people, green tea being the most popular at this time. In the past, various leaves have been used for herbal medicines and in general to assist the body in fighting toxins, colds, flu, and various other ailments. However, they are classed as herbs and not superfoods, but because of their great medicinal properties they have been included here. PLEASE NOTE: Teas are best when seeped raw and should not be heated above 60 degrees centigrade. If you pour boiling water on the leaf, you will be drastically reducing its potency.
Best Tea:
Green tea and white tea from the camellia sinensis plant (also black tea, but with fewer benefits)
Bilberry leaf
Dandelion leaf
Black walnut leaf
Goldenseal leaf
Rosemary leaf
Nettle leaf
Alfalfa leaf
Lemon grass
Horsetail
Dr. Perricone made a list of his top 10 superfoods
The 10 featured here were chosen because of their direct link to the Brain-Beauty Connection. These foods (listed here in alphabetical order) are rich in either the Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs), antioxidants or fiber, and as in the case of açaí—all three! In addition, we have included foods that have been proven to lower or help regulate blood sugar levels—an extremely important factor for all of those concerned with slowing the aging process and preventing diabetes, obesity, wrinkles and a host of degenerative diseases.
Açaí
The Allium Family
Barley
Beans and Lentils
Buckwheat
Green Foods
Hot Peppers
Nuts and Seeds
Sprouts
Yogurt and Kefir

Day 21
One tip I have for anyone on the cleanse would be to make sure you don't ingest anything that needs to be digested. If you do, you will stay in a constant state of hunger and food craving because your stomach is still manufacturing acid needed to digest. One of reasons people can fast for such a long amount of time is because after 3 or so days your stomach stops producing these acids and digestive enzymes and basically "shuts down" so there is no more hunger.
Everything you ingest should be completely liquid. I found that straining the lemon juice so that there is no pulp in it made a HUGE difference. The first time I did the cleanse I did not do this and never lost my hunger. So if you are having problems on the cleanse, this could be one of the reasons.
Another thing I have noticed on the message boards is there seems to be a lot of people who are taking cayenne capsules. Once again, that is going to make your stomach need to digest something. I am someone who does not usually like hot foods, and I am fine with it. You really get used to it after a while. Maybe that gross white layer on the tongue helps block the heat!
You only need to use a PINCH! 1/10 of a teaspoon! It really is not that much. The longer the pepper sits in liquid, the hotter it gets, so if you are making your lemonade ahead of time, leave the cayenne out and add it right before drinking.
I found something else about why they are not good to take:
So, like I said, if you are still feeling hungry after the first 3 days or so, make sure you are not forcing your stomach to stay in digestion mode.
Any whooo....Three weeks for me today! I treated myself a bottle of my favorite perfume. "Luctor et Emergo"
It is pretty expensive for a fragrance, but I really love it and Luctor et Emergo translates as "I struggle and emerge" or "Struggle and Conquor". What could be a better motto for my Master Cleanse experience?

I found something else about why they are not good to take:
Don't use cayenne capsules for two reasons. First, most capsules are made from gelatin (boiled hooves, tendons and sinews of pigs) which require digestion and thus defeat the fasting aspect of the Master Cleanse, which is what gives it its power.
Secondly, Master Herbalist, Dr. Richard Schulze, who rates cayenne as the #1 most important, useful herb, says that people who take it in capsules don't get the maximum healing effect because it bypasses the nerve endings in the mouth which react by sending blood throughout the body especially into blocked areas.
Most people who have problems taking cayenne by mouth once tried it by taking way too much at first. It is such a beneficial herb, it is worth learning to take it. (It is a learned food, just like celery or tomatoes.) So, start with whatever amount is comfortable and gradually increase it until you can use a 1/10 teaspoon in each 10 oz. lemonade drink...or more!"

Day 20
My trip was good, and it was bad. It was nice to have some different scenery to look at and to be able to be out in the fresh air for some nice nature walks. It was bad because I didn't realize how much harder it is to be around someone you associate with eating and drinking.
My friend started her cleanse, but I doubt she will stay on it. She wants to do it mostly for weight loss, and I find people are much more motivated when they are doing it for health reasons as well.
Tomorrow will be 3 weeks for me! I am going for at least one more week. There are still some things that I would like to get rid of if I can. I hear people say old scars that they have had gone away on a longer fast, and I have quite a few of those. I also have a rather large calcium deposit on my collar bone where it was broken a few years back. I would hope my body might start to break that down sometime soon.
I just read this today about cold weather and detoxing...
That makes me worried about having done my cleanse in such cold weather. Thankfully it is a bit warmer now. I plan on doing more cleanses in the future, but I will NEVER do them during the winter. Unless I move to Florida...... I think the extreme cold made my cleanse much harder mentally and physically. Plus I think I definitely have suffered from SAD this year.
Tomorrow...3 weeks! I am going to buy myself something special.

When the body becomes chilled the skin pores close and other body reactions take place to protect against chilling as much as possible. In these instances, energies being redirected to temperature maintenance may result in temporary neglect of regular chores of elimination. The skin normally respires and the closing of pores throws an additional burden of elimination onto the respiratory system. If the body is already toxic, the added toxin retention may reach a level that will trigger a body cleansing crisis, such as a cold or flu.
That makes me worried about having done my cleanse in such cold weather. Thankfully it is a bit warmer now. I plan on doing more cleanses in the future, but I will NEVER do them during the winter. Day 15
I bought the same exact brand of Maple Syrup at Whole Foods as I did last time, and this one looks and tastes completely different. It is much lighter and a lot less sweet. My other one was thick and dark and sooo sweet, I thought people were nuts for using 2 tablespoons. It was too sweet with just one.
One of my friends got interested in doing the cleanse after hearing about the benefits from me. We are going to take a trip up to Wisconsin tomorrow and stay at her sisters house in Lake Geneva. She thought it would be easier to get through the first couple of days without a lot of distraction or having to be around food. Hopefully we can get some good walks in. It will be a nice change of pace. I am getting a little sick of the city.
So I won't be updating again until probably Monday.
